She Loves Me

That bittersweet moment when you realize and understand all that has transpired in your life was to gain one thing: Love. ⁣

So you looked for heroes. Was it kind who wear capes? Maybe you manipulated others to love you. You might have engaged in risky behaviors or self-harm for love. All because your inner child was hurting. You don't have to live without love. It's inside you, ready to be unbound.⁣

Be the hero your inner child needs you to be. Embrace your inner child, open your heart to them, and hear them as they tell you what they need. ⁣

Heroes listen and see when someone needs help. You have the answer to that call for love inside you. Listen to yourself. Go inward and ask yourself what you can give your inner child?⁣

As I rewrote a letter to my biological mother for the umpteenth time to allow my inner child to speak, I recognized more profound compassion and understanding for her was developing, which never was present before. I can see now through the questions my inner child asked that my mother was in deep pain to not to allow herself the giving and receiving of love.⁣

Heroes are loyal, listen, and see where love needs to be applied. I urge you to be faithful to yourself and your inner child. That's being a hero.⁣

Grow with them in love.⁣
💚S⁣
